Wife of ill rebel leader put in Nigeria government (AP)

ABUJA, Nigeria – The spouse of the protest leader who led the breakaway of the Republic of Biafra, which plunged Nigeria into a brutal subject struggle 40 years ago, has been appointed by Nigeria's chair to a polity position.

In a evidence issued weekday night, a spokesman to President Goodluck Jonathan said Bianca Ojukwu would help as grownup special supporter of diaspora affairs. The evidence said her designation took immediate effect.

She is the spouse of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, a millionaire's son and grey tar who led Biafra during a struggle that saw as some as 1 million people killed. Ojukwu, today 77, has been hospitalized in the United Kingdom with an illness for individual weeks.

The designation comes as Jonathan attempts to solidify his noesis before an April statesmanly election.
