France extradites Rwandan rebel to The Hague (AP)

PARIS – A town judicial authorised says author is extraditing a African protest to the International Criminal Court to face accusations of orchestrating killings and rapes in neighboring Zaire to acquire semipolitical power.

An authorised at the town prosecutors office said that Callixte Mbarushimana was en line Tuesday to the suite in the Hague, Netherlands, after a town appeals suite judgement in November authorised the transfer.

Mbarushimana, a 47-year-old leader of the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda, or FDLR, a Bantu protest group, was inactive in town in October.

He is charged with 11 counts of crimes against humanity and war crimes, including murder, rape, persecution supported on gender, and extensive conclusion of concept by the FDLR in 2009.
