Dalai Lama to step down as Tibetan political leader (Reuters)

DHARAMSALA, Bharat (Reuters) – The Dalai Lama declared on weekday that he was stepping down as semipolitical cheater of the Asiatic polity in exile.

"As early as the 1960s, I hit repeatedly stressed that Tibetans requirement a leader, elected freely by the Asiatic people, to whom I can worsen power," the Dalai Lama said in a prepared speech. "Now, we hit clearly reached the instance to put this into effect."

The Dalai Lama has daylong seen himself as "semi-retired" from semipolitical leadership with an elected maturity minister already in locate in the Federal Amerindic municipality of Dharamsala. He remains Tibet's sacred leader.
