GM curtails spending, travel on Japan crisis (Reuters)

CHICAGO (Reuters) – General Motors Co (GM.N) has suspended every unessential outlay and orbicular travel patch the maker assesses the effect of the crisis in Nihon on the company, a GM spokesman said on Saturday.

In addition, GM module suspend creation in Zaragoza, Spain, on weekday and cancel digit shifts in Eisenach, Germany, on weekday and Tuesday, spokesman Klaus-Peter Martin told Reuters.

Japan, reeling from a helper and thermonuclear crisis after a large seism and tsunami, is a key bourgeois to the orbicular machine and profession sectors, making prolonged flutter a danger to both.

Automakers rely on "just-in-time" inventory of their supplies to build cars and trucks. Even a small bourgeois of products that are fed to a large bourgeois that feeds the automaker's gathering plants can retard or prevent container production.

GM is the top-selling maker in the U.S. market, followed by author Motor Co (F.N) and Toyota Motor Corp. (7203.T)
