Pakistani lawmaker says women mentally torture men (AP)

KARACHI, Pakistan – A male Asiatic lawmaker has worn jeers for proposing a committee to stop the "mental torture" of men by women.

Jam Tamachi Unar advisable the idea Thursday, after the gathering in Sindh domain resolved to create a commission to analyse the injure of women in the country's agricultural areas.

The proposal drew shouts of "Shame!" from someone gathering members. Most of the women stormed discover of the session, while some of the men laughed.

Unar told The Associated Press that he was exclusive joking but that it's a "bitter actuality that the same way women are tortured in agricultural areas, men are the victims of noetic injure in urban neighborhoods."

Violence against women is ordinary in Pakistan, part thanks to patriarchal attitudes and lax accumulation enforcement.
