LONDON (AFP) – A baker has grilled up a unique commendation to Prince William and Kate playwright after spending 80 hours creating a block bearing a icon of the soon-to-be-married couple.
Michelle Wibowo's tralatitious arts fruit cake, which has been carved into busts of the pair, module modify the centrepiece of the Ideal Home Cake Decorator of the Year competition at London's Ideal Home Show.
The cake, which module go on exhibit from Wednesday, is covered with 10 kilograms of candy and 10 kilograms of icing, which has been meticulously carved and airbrushed to create a icon of the couple.
"I used this block competition as a enthusiastic opportunity to do something different, another than the customary tralatitious decorated ammo tiered block people normally wait for a wedding cake," said Wibowo, from West Sussex.
"It was rattling a challenge for me to do this cake. It's hard work, but I rattling enjoyed making it," she added.
