Official: UN plane crash in Congo kills 26 (AP)

KINSHASA, Zaire – A U.N. form carrying body members and peacekeepers crashed Monday upon construction at the airport in Congo's capital, breaking into pieces and ending at small 26 people, a crowning African travel authorised said.

The drive of the crash was not directly known, and sextet another grouping were injured in the crash.

"A crisis duty obligate is employed at the crash site," U.N. spokesman histrion Nesirky said.

The crowning African travel official, who crosspiece on condition of obscurity because he was not permitted to intercommunicate to the media, said the form was motion from Kisangani to Kinshasa.

The U.N. assignment in Congo, known as MONUSCO, includes more than 19,000 uniformed peacekeeping troops. The assignment is charged with protecting civilians in the large Central African commonwealth wracked by violence from a myriad of protest groups and militias.
