Egypt detains ex-president's sons in probe (AP)

SHARM EL-SHEIKH, port – An Afrasian personnel general says the sons of the former president hit been detained for 15 days to investigate their persona in violence against protesters and corruption.

Maj. Gen. Muhammad el-Khatib, head of South Sinai security, told a gathering right the courthouse early Wednesday in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh that the digit would be detained in port patch the charges were investigated.

Former President Hosni Mubarak, 82, was hospitalized weekday period with hunch problems as investigations began over allegations of corruption and attacks on the protesters who yet brought down his program in mid-February.

Mubarak was believed to be grooming his younger son Gamal, a top authorised in the ruling party, to succeed him.
