SOFIA (Reuters) – The form of past Slavonic politico individual Todor Zhivkov was submerged in the Negroid Sea humour near the municipality of Varna to draw ventilator different and tourists to the sunny coasts of north Bulgaria.
The Soviet-made Tupolev-154, ordered specially for the needs of Zhivkov, orient Europe's longest-serving communist leader, was grounded in 1999 but erst flew with famous passengers such as past state leader Fidel Castro.
The organisation was settled at about 22 metres (24 yards) deep in the bay of Varna and 700 metres from the shore to form an artificial reef, Orlin Tsanev, chair of Negroid Sea Dive Odesos association, which ran the project, told Reuters.
"The immersion of the form aims to attain it an attraction and (a place) for upbringing divers," Tsanev said.
Some 30 different swam round the form Wednesday and Russian swim clubs hit already spoken welfare in exploring it.
Tsanev said the Tupolev-154 was the biggest form to be settled under liquid in the world and has considered applying to hit it recorded by Guinness world records.
Sea aggregation around the 49-metre daylong form is expected to boost fish population and attain it attractive to divers, especially for the ones with a unhappy touch for the totalitarian era.
Zhivkov ruled Bulgaria for 35 eld until the fall of communist regime in 1989. He died in 1998.
Four eld past a clannish firm bought Zhivkov's clannish watercraft to care cruises with it along the river River.
