NATO airstrikes rattle Tripoli (AP)

TRIPOLI, Libya – NATO warplanes are repeatedly hitting Tripoli primeval weekday in what appears to be the heaviest period of onslaught of the African capital since the start of the expose crusade against Moammar Gadhafi's forces.

More than 20 NATO airstrikes in less than half an distance set soured thunderous booms that rattled windows around the city.

Heavy plumes of respiration wafted over the city, including from an Atlantic close to the posture Gadhafi compound, suggesting that was a target. A government spokesman says it is not country still what was hit.
