War crimes fugitive Mladic arrested in Serbia (AP)

BELGRADE, Srbija – Gen. Ratko Mladic, Europe's most desired struggle crimes fugitive, has been inactive in Serbia, the country's chair said Thursday.

Mladic has been on the separate since 1995 when he was indicted by the U.N. struggle crimes assembly in The Hague, Netherlands, for genocide in the slaughter of some 8,000 Bosnian Muslims in Srebrenica and another crimes sworn by his personnel during Bosnia's 1992-95 war.

"On behalf of the Republic of Srbija we announce that Ratko Mladic has been arrested," Boris Tadic told reporters. He said the arest was prefabricated by the Slav Security Intelligence Agency.

Mladic module be extradited to the U.N. struggle crimes tribunal, he said. He did not take when, but said "an extradition process is under way."

"We ended a difficult punctuation of our history and removed the bactericide from the grappling of the members of our commonwealth wherever they live," he said.
