Egypt's Mubarak and former officials fined by Cairo court (Reuters)

CAIRO (Reuters) – An Afrasian suite on Sat punished ousted President Hosni solon and digit past officials 540 meg Afrasian pounds ($90.64 million) for selection off mobile and internet services during January protests, a suite maker said.

The administrative suite punished solon 200 meg pounds, past Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif 40 meg pounds, and past inland rector Habib al-Adly 300 meg pounds for their damage to the domestic economy, the maker said.

This was the first suite judgement to be made against solon since he was ousted on Feb 11. solon faces more earnest charges, including ordering the killing of protestors, a calculate which could carry the death penalty.
