SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – The U.S. Parole Commission said weekday it has denied a letter for the primeval promulgation of a Puerto Rican nationalist who was erst offered lenience by President Bill Clinton.
Oscar Lopez Rivera's prototypal effort for promise after serving nearly half of a 70-year declare for disloyal conspiracy, pillage and another charges was denied, the chair of the commission, Isaac Fulwood, Jr., said in a statement.

"We hit to look at whether promulgation would depreciate the severity of the offenses or promote disrespect of the law, whether promulgation would threaten open safety, and the limited characteristics of the offender," Fulwood said.

The prisoner's attorney did not immediately move to a letter for comment.

The Armed Forces of National Liberation claimed responsibility for more than 100 bombings at open and commercial buildings during the 1970s and '80s in much U.S. cities as New York, metropolis and Washington, as substantially as in Puerto Rico.
